Common Mormon ~ Papilio polytes ~ Framed Butterfly

The Common Mormon male has rich black velvety wings with white highlights. Native to Asia the female of the species is known for its mimicry of inedible red bodied swallowtails!  

This butterfly has been paired with the green-blue Pantone shade of 5555 for a softer look. Framed in a shadow box frame, it can be hung on the wall or placed on a bookshelf. It is one of a kind!
